Old Farm Cottage Grounds

Old Farm Cottage Grounds

The scenery in the Highlands is renowned for its mystical beauty; stunning skies, ethereal mists, purple heathers - all this and more can be experienced within the grounds alone at Old Farm Cottages.

There are around fifty acres (20 hectares) of grounds to explore, with meandering paths through the trees and over a mile of shoreline along mystical Loch Ness. The grounds have been nurtured and landscaped over the years resulting in this jewel nestled in the heart of the Highlands.

The changing seasons have drawn our visitors back time and time again. The winter snowdrops and hoar frost give way to a magical display of daffodils as spring bursts through the grounds. In the warmth of the late spring and early summer you can take the little row boat and venture on to the waters of Loch Ness or just relax in the summerhouse watching the sunset and reflections in on the water. The autumn brings its own wealth of colours in gold, russet and copper that are breath-taking.

It is hard to experience the peace, tranquillity and beauty Old Farm's grounds through photographs; so why not book the Bothy or the Granary and enjoy it all in person.
